Slide bracelets

Slide bracelets are not a new design. Instead of having charms dangle from a bracelet, you simply slide them on. They are a completely different feature from Italian charm bracelets that snap on. These bracelets are made of gold or silver and can feature settings with gemstones and intricate designs. You start with a starter bracelet and then build your slide charms for an exciting and innovative collection.  

Each slide that you use on slide bracelets has 2.3 mm diameter holes that slide on to the bracelet. When you buy new charms to add to your bracelet, you can bring them into a jeweller to have them put on the bracelet. If you purchase the charm at a jewelry store, most locations will put them on the bracelet for you in return for the purchase. If you buy them from an online jewelry store, you will probably have to pay to get each charm put on the bracelet. This will eat into the savings of shopping online, but you will still save off the regular price of the charm. 

You can also string the charms on slide bracelets yourself. When you do this you may have to cork the side link if you only have a few charms on the bracelet. This will keep the charms from slipping off. If you want you can use beads to fill in links on the bracelet. This is a really pretty addition to use between charms and fills up the bracelet. When you start to add charms, you will have to take off the clasp. The clasp is too big to fit through the ting holes in each charm. When you hook on the charms you want, then you reattach the clasp and your bracelet is ready for you to wear.
